need Help navigating to the viewing platform at Gull Point?
EBO has you covered with an interactive map to do just that!
Presque Isle State Park, PA has been rated by Bird Watching Magazine as one of the top birding spots in the country, no doubt due in part to its physical position jutting out into Lake Erie. One of the places within Presque Isle where this recognition is most notable is at Gull Point, a resting spot for shorebirds migrating from beyond the Arctic Circle to the southern reaches of South America and back again each year. April and September are when shorebird migration typically peaks and with the latter fast approaching, Erie Bird Observatory has created an interactive ArcGIS story map to help visitors find their way out to the viewing platform from the parking lot at Beach 10.
